Portuguese Fraternal Society of America (P.F.S.A.) Scholarships

Great News!!

P.F.S.A has extended the deadline to submit Scholarship Applications to MARCH 15, 2010.

  • If you are a member of I.D.E.S./A.P.U.M.E.C., S.E.S., U.P.E.C. or U.P.P.E.C.
  • If you are a High School Senior
  • If you maintained a minimum 3.0 G.P.A. in your Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years
  • If you plan to attend a Vocational School, a Junior College, or a University

 You may qualify for a P.F.S.A. SCHOLARSHIP.

Time is of the essence! Completed Scholarship Applications and required documentation must be received in the P.F.S.A. Home Office by March 15, 2010.

For an application, please call 1-866-687-PFSA and they will mail you the application or visit the P.F.S.A. website at www.mypfsa.org and download it.

We also have two S.E.S. Council #76 scholarships available in the amounts of $1,500.00 and $1,000.00.  Any high school senior that is a member or child of a donor needs to contact Antoinette Duarte and she will send them the scholarship application.  Must be in by March 15, 2010.

Saturday and Sunday January 23rd and 24th, 2010

Dinner: 6:00pm

Menu Includes: Torresmos, Linguica, Batas Doces, Cozidas, Beans, Bread, Rice Pudding and Fillozes

2009 Annual Holy Ghost Festa

The 2009 Annual Holy Ghost Festa was a great success! Thank you to all the individuals that contributed countless hours of their time to make this event come together. Don’t forget that we are holding our annual Bloodless Bullfight at the Praça São João in Thornton on Friday, May 29th.

Heritage Day - 2008
