2006 Elk Grove Festa
The Elk Grove SES held its annual Festa celebration on May 27th and 28th, 2006.
Saturday night was the corrination ceremony where the new queens were crowned. This ceremony was preceded by a dinner and proceeded by a dance.
On Sunday we had our parade, mass, and sopas feed. The parade did not go without a hitch (pun intended). We had some issues with the hitches on the trailers but got it figured out in time to escort the parade back from the church. Thanks Van for grabbing our emergency hitch equipment!
The sopas was great, and there were a lot of people there to enjoy it.
This was also the first year for our new Capella. What a beautiful job the guys did with it! I heard many compliments from the attendees.
